You will require a A.S. 4005.1 dive medical from a diving doctor if you have any of the following conditions or are over the age of 60
INTODUCTORY DIVERS
You will require a A.S. 4005.1 dive medical from a diving doctor if you have any of the following conditions or are over the age of 55:
Asthma or wheezing, Diabetes, Fainting, seizures or blackouts, chronic bronchitis or persistent chest complaints, Chronic sinus conditions, collapsed lung, brain or spinal cord injury or disorder, Heart disease of any kind, Chest surgery, High or low blood pressure, ear surgery on antidepressants.
To avoid disappointment have your doctor perform a
AS 4005.1 Scuba Diving Medical (125 KB)
You are not able to dive if you:
Are Pregnant, suffer from; Epilepsy or Tuberculosis or long term lung disease. Or are flying in the next 12hrs after a single scuba dive and 24 after 2 dives.
However snorkelling may still be available
